Cathay Pacific Airways adopts the e-ticket for individual reservation and on all routes allowing it. Electronical ticket is already available on the 80% of connections operated by the Hong-Kong-based carrier. Cathay for Italy said that the "Obligatory adoption of the e-ticket represents a necessary development to meet the altered requirements of all components of the system. Cost-benefits linkage will improve in favour of passengers, travel agencies, airport operator companies and allied carriers".
