Prototype of the future Japanese-made new 200-300 seats supersonic airlines will be tested in flight in the Australian territory on next October 7. Actually, it will be an unmanned scaled prototype produced by the Japanese Space Agency and by which one will be able to understand if the design specifications in terms of deployed wing formula and materials are the right ones. A rocket carrier will carry it at an about 18,000m ceiling, and then leave it to fly independently and achieve a Mach 2 speed and go back to the ground safely by a parachute. The scaled mock-up will be recovered and analysed later. The "Super Concorde" or "Concorde 2" project cannot be accomplished before 20 years and only by cooperating with EADS-Airbus.
